✧ What Is Reiki?

Reiki is the transmission of universal life energy, flowing through the crown chakra and out through the hands. It is pure love and free from any religious affiliation.
Reiki works on the body, mind, and soul as one. Each person experiences it in their own way. Some feel peaceful and relaxed. Others may see images, remember memories, or feel physical sensations. There are many gentle ways Reiki can touch and heal us.

Reiki can be used for the whole body or just specific areas. I often use crystals to deepen and support the energy.
I practice Usui Reiki (Level II) and was lovingly initiated by my teacher, Mirca Preißler.

✧ A Path of Practice – Not Just Theory

I believe true healing comes from walking your path with heart. Not just from books or words, but from real experiences.
My teacher encouraged me to follow my own way. One that weaves together Reiki and Lemurian crystal energy.
Like monks and pilgrims who visit sacred places to find truth, I too began my own healing journey.

✧ Lemurian Connection in Bali

On the island of Bali, I was guided to a Lemurian healing session.

There, I deeply connected with the soft and ancient energy of Lemuria — a heart-opening presence that now flows through me.

During the session I lay on big, powerful crystals, such as jasper, and was gently guided and supported by Laura Fredrickson and by my ancestors.

I will never forget the clarity and love that filled my heart. Since then, I’ve felt ready to share this energy in my healing work.

✧ My Reiki Journey in Japan 

2024 Japan became a sacred chapter of my Reiki path. I followed the footsteps of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki.

✧ The First Reiki School – Tokyo

I visited the first Reiki school Usui founded in Tokyo, close to the Meiji Shrine (Meiji Jingu) in Harajuku.
There, I felt a deep connection to the towering, ancient trees.
When I offered Reiki to one of them, something unexpected happened: its energy flowed into me. 

Through this tree, Mother Nature revealed her quiet, pulsating power through Reiki
like a heartbeat flowing into my hands.
She is healing through her wisdom, with our prayers and reconnection.
She heals with us, for us.
The message she brought was clear:
It is time for us to awaken,
to recognize the greatness and sacredness of Earth,
and to remember that we are not above nature,
but a part of her, Mother Gaia’s living soul.

✧ The Sacred Grave – Saihoji Temple

I also visited Saihoji Temple in Tokyo, where Usui’s grave lies.
The energy at this temple was strong and full of spirit. I felt surrounded by ancestors, watching over.
It’s a place you don’t just decide to visit — it calls you, and when it does, you know you're meant to be there.
I felt exhausted after the visit, nearly overwhelmed by all the energy.
It felt as if the student had been recognized through a quiet exchange of energy.

✧ Healing on Kurama Mountain

One of the most powerful moments of my journey was on Mount Kurama, near Kyoto.
This sacred mountain is where Usui received Reiki and became enlightened.

Before the hike, I had intense back pain and worried I wouldn’t make it.
But by the time I reached the bottom, something had changed.
The pain was gone. I carried my backpack with ease. 

And in meditation Mother Nature and my Master spoke to me again: "You don’t need to please anyone. Not even yourself."
It took me a while to understand.

✧ The Heart Sutra – A Song of Wisdom

On Kurama Mountain, I heard and sang the Heart Sutra with the monks.
Its vibration moved something deep within me. For weeks it unfolded inside and became part of my Reiki practice.

The Heart Sutra teaches that there is nothing. All is emptiness.
No meaning, no suffering, no path to suffering — and no path away from it.

Where all is nothing, there’s no happiness, no sadness, no nose and no ear.
This might sound sad but it isn’t.
It just is. Emptiness.

You can’t judge emptiness or call it good or bad.
And you don’t have to fill it.

It revealed itself to me as an image: a tunnel of pure white-silver light,
through which my manifestations now flow with even more power.
No expectations. No path. No goal. No image.
And yet — manifestation.

You could try to understand the Heart Sutra with the mind
but only the enlightened one fully grasps its truth.
Until then we can only explore, listen and allow it to unfold within us.

Since then Usui’s words have resonated even more deeply:
“You don’t need to please anyone. Not even yourself.”

Because there is no reason to “be” anything.
Not a title, not a role, not even satisfied.

Let us incorporate the mantra from the Heart Sutra into our wisdom:

"Gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi swaha"
"Gone, gone, gone beyond, gone completely beyond, enlightenment, swaha!"
